FOREST HILL

A warm and layered interior, this project celebrates a collected, lived-in aesthetic rooted in materiality, colour, and personal expression. Existing architectural elements are preserved and enhanced, forming a rich backdrop for a more evolved and individual design language.

A grounded palette of earthy greens, natural timber, and soft neutrals is paired with dark metal framing and generous natural light, creating a balance between tradition and contemporary intervention. Large glazed openings and rooflights draw light deep into the space, connecting interior and garden.​

Joinery plays a central role, with bespoke cabinetry and shelving providing both function and opportunity for display. Objects, plants, and artwork are intentionally curated, introducing texture, colour, and a sense of personal narrative throughout.

The result is an interior that feels intimate and authentic—rich in character, layered in detail, and designed to evolve over time.
